Rafi Elul, Chairman of Ruach Tova

Rafi Elul – Bio
Rafi Elul, who serves as Chairman of the nonprofit Ruach Tova of the Arison Group, was born in Morocco in 1957 and made Aliyah to Israel in 1961.
Over the years, Rafi Elul has served in various civil service roles that have extensively impacted Israeli society.
Some of these include:
• Member of the 13th and 14th Knesset for the Labor Party, holding positions as a member of the Finance Committee, Internal Affairs and Environment Committee, Education, Culture and Sports Committee, Knesset Committee, and Special Committee for Combatting Drug and Alcohol Abuse, and he also chaired the Special Committee for Public Petitions
• Mayor of the Mazkeret Batya local council
• Secretary General of the Labor Party
• Advisor to the Prime Minister on welfare and social affairs, and the coordinator of the social -economic cabinet
• Chairman of the Movement for Combating Poverty
• President and Chairman of Ishra – Consulting and Guidance Inc., a firm that offers commercial services in the areas of finances, business development, and strategic consulting, specializing in governmental and urban taxation relations (2000-present)
• Chairman of the nonprofit Ruach Tova of the Arison Group, which operates to connect volunteers and organizations that seek volunteers (2003-present)
• Member of the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, channels 1 and 2
• Chairman of the Public Broadcasting Corporation Finance Committee
Rafi holds an MBA from Ben Gurion University and a BA in Sociology and Political Science from Bar-Ilan University. He is also the graduate of the Local Authority and Public Policy program at Bar Ilan University and the Executive Managers program at JDC (The Joint) Elka.
